Our Services at World’s End Under Fives Centre: What We Offer

At World’s End Under Fives Centre, we’re thrilled to be a vibrant part of Chelsea’s World’s End community for over 30 years! As a charity committed to supporting families and young children, we provide a warm, inviting space for little ones and their families to learn, grow, and connect.

Our friendly, experienced staff are fully trained and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring that every child receives high-quality, engaging education and care. Here’s a closer look at what we offer:

Drop-In Sessions

Our Drop-In is a lively space where children (from birth to 4 years) and their parents or carers can come together, meet other families, and enjoy a range of activities. Here, children can:

  • Play, explore, learn, and have fun in a safe, welcoming environment
  • Participate in daily activities that inspire creativity and learning, including outdoor and indoor play, storytime, messy play, art, rhyme sessions, music, and movement

Availability: All year round, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 12:00.

Pre-School 

In October 2024, we were graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted.

Our Pre-School offers an exciting, fun, nurturing environment where children aged 2 to 5 can immerse themselves in learning. We believe in engaging both children and parents, making this a place where everyone can grow together, aligned with the EYFS.

  • Term-time care in a setting that fosters curiosity, social interaction, and foundational learning through play
  • Access to all funded childcare options, including 30 hours of free childcare and tax-free childcare

Availability: Term-time only, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 15:00.

Creche Services

For families who need a short break or additional support, our respite crèche provides two-hour sessions three times a week. This service is ideal for children aged 1 to 4, and it’s especially helpful for those preparing for transitions into preschool or school. Here, children will:

  • Play, socialize, and build independence
  • Receive gentle support during the transition period before entering Pre-School or nursery

Availability: Three afternoons per week, for two hours per session.
